In the Karaoke installation, the ambition is to bring together some grandparent living-room and the stage of a Schlager Musik festival by the lake. Amateur singers sit in sofas and armchairs in front of the screen and give their best to perform the cheesiest songs while those who wait their turn and those who listen form the audience of the show. On screen, absurd videos, sometimes contemplative and sophisticated but mostly absurd, replace the usual lyrics prompter. That way the audio and visual show, the vocal performances, humor and entertainment come together for a delightful atmosphere.
