Based in Marseille, Guillaume Stagnaro is a visual artist, teacher, and researcher. He conducts a practical and speculative exploration in the field of algorithmic writing through the creation of digital devices and installations and participation in numerous collective and interdisciplinary projects. Guillaume Stagnaro’s protean work initiates dialogues with other actors of creation (artists, musicians, theorists, etc.). By developing systems and algorithmic writings, he explores the collaborative dimension and rethinks network work, while avoiding the artist’s ego. Guillaume Stagnaro revisits the notions of responsibility, compatibility and ecology of thought by focusing his attention on new types of relationships.
